Terms and Conditions

1. Who We Are
This website is operated by Jan Smolorz, trading as SearchDaddy.ie, an SEO consultancy based in Dublin, Ireland. When we say “we”, “us”, or “our” on this page, we mean Jan Smolorz / SearchDaddy.ie.
2. What You Agree To
By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please stop using the site. We may update these terms from time to time, and the “Last updated” date at the top will reflect any changes.
3. Our Services
We provide SEO consulting services including local SEO, technical SEO audits, content strategy, and link building. The specifics of each engagement are agreed in writing (usually by email or a signed proposal) before work begins. We always aim to deliver great results, but SEO depends on many external factors like Google algorithm changes, competitor activity, and market conditions. Because of this, we cannot guarantee specific rankings, traffic numbers, or revenue outcomes.
4. Free SEO Audits
Our free SEO audit is exactly that: free, with no obligation. We will review your website and provide a summary of findings. This is not a comprehensive technical audit (those are a paid service) but a useful starting point. Submitting a request does not create a contract or commitment on either side.
5. Payment and Cancellation
Payment terms are outlined in each individual proposal or agreement. For monthly retainers, either party can cancel with 30 days written notice. One-off projects are invoiced as agreed in the proposal. Late payments may incur a fee of 2% per month.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on this website (text, images, code, designs) belongs to Jan Smolorz / SearchDaddy.ie unless otherwise noted. You are welcome to reference and share our blog posts with attribution, but please don’t copy or republish entire pages. Work produced for clients as part of a paid engagement belongs to the client once payment is received in full.
7. Limitation of Liability
We do our best to keep the information on this site accurate and up to date, but we can’t guarantee everything is perfect at all times. Our liability for any paid engagement is limited to the total fees paid for that engagement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost revenue or lost rankings caused by factors outside our control.
8. Third-Party Links
Our site may link to external websites. We have no control over their content and take no responsibility for it. Linking to a site does not mean we endorse it.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
10. Contact
If you have any questions about these terms, get in touch at our contact page or email jan@searchdaddy.ie.
